Catching Up

• Bullets is just the best way, right?
• We had a great Christmas. I love being with my family. What a lucky girl I am!
• Discovered watching HGTV shows online. No extended cable. Got to be creative.
• I finally bought chairs for my formal living room and did some rearranging. I'll take pictures soon and post them. They aren't too exciting (brown) but yesterday, I bought some fun throw pillows for them and the couch. I'm liking it. I've also got some great deals on vases at Kirklands. I think it'll be my new addiction. Next time mil takes the kids, I think I'll paint my dining room. I'm thinking about doing something really bold. . . .
• Something just horrible happened to an old friend of mine over the holidays. I can't get the tragedy out of my head. I've been praying a lot for her.
• For Christmas, we got ourselves a Blu-ray player with wi-fi connections. Translation: we can get netflix right on our tv. It's only $9/mth and since we don't have extended cable, it adds lots more choices for us to watch.

• Started trying to potty-train Ca. Not going too well.
• Ben thinks my legs are his walker. If I stand on one place for more than 3 minutes, he crawls over and pulls up, using my legs to balance and hangs on while I try to walk around getting stuff done.
• Today, I tried to clean my house, but between all the poop, crying, and human walker business, nothing got done. I guess I'll try again tomorrow.
