Nine Years

Text reads: Nine years ago, we committed our lives together. We were in love. Smittened by each other. But that day, we became one flesh. We weren’t always so perfectly fit for each other, but through the years that one flesh has become a tight bond. There is no tearing it apart. We’ve worn away the rough edges in our relationship, so that our differences that once aggravated, now compliment. Our similarities make life so sweet. There are still many splinters to work out, but they are fewer and fewer. You are my friend, my partner, my spiritual leader, my hero, my warm shoulder, my protector, my love.
