Christmas Week

  • Thank you all for coming to our adult party. It was so nice to have a conversation without having to make sure the kids were playing well or what-not.
  • Saturday night was the first night the boys stayed at Granny's. Mom thought we would have to pick them up in the middle of the night - but no, they did good. Yeah!! It was good news since we're planning on making a kidless trip to the Big D to look for a van. It was so nice to sleep in until 8:00am.
  • Chris found his winter sweaters in a box labeled "summer inflatables". Lord knows how. Don't know what he was thinking when he packed them and didn't change what the box said.
  • My friend Dendy has a blog now. If you know her, too, check it out: http://babyboyjosiah.blogspot.com/
  • I'm addicted to HGTV. When we got our new tv, we also got all the digital channels. We only pay for basic cable so this was a big surprise. We haven't upgraded our cable or anything, but now we get about 30 extra channels plus lots of digital music channels. Chris, too, is addicted to HGTV. Luckily, I didn't watch much tv before HGTV, so it's not too bad.
  • Handy Manny is a cute lil' show.
  • I finally figured out what those lit wreaths are for. Last year, a friend of mine gave me a lit wreath for my birthday. I already had a wreath for my front door, and I never understood how you plug in a lit wreath and still are able to open/close your front door. WINDOWS!! It dawned on my after I rigged it above our back window that you're suppose to hang it in a window in the front of your house for an outdoor decoration. Too late now, but next year, I know where to put it. Only thing, Z's room has the best window, so it'll have to be turned off when he goes to bed. He'd complain about the light.
  • It's so wrong that I get weighed every few weeks even around the holidays.
  • I think I've decided what colors I want to do the baby's room. Don't be shocked, but I think I'm going to do chocolate brown and a dark apple green. I would have liked to do something with pink, but don't think that'll work. I made the boys quilts and all their bedding. I'm hoping this time, I can find bedding to match and just make a quilt. All I'd need would be curtains, crib skirt, and bumper pads. Any ideas on where to look? Seph?

You are mighty chatty tonight.
30 channels? I got ripped off.
Green apple and chocolate--yum.
When we had extended cable by accident, I had them turn it off because it was too tempting to watch HGTV and TLC all day. The kids always wanted to watch stuff, too. The cable company didn't understand why we didn't want to keep the free upgrade.

Thank You! God Bless You! You're Amazing! I Appreciate It MUCHO! ...but you create them in Photoshop?!?!? Wow. Do you have templates that you follow or upload? Or like create them, as in from scratch?

Either way, you're amazing. My hero. Do you teach classes? :o)

Aww, thanks for the link Wendy!
Love chocolate brown and apple green. Those colors are so popular these days you shouldn't have any trouble finding bedding.
Hope you and the boys have a very Merry Christmas!

The boys were so good, I was shocked. Here is the secret: Have some Little Bear recorded and tell them they are going to sleep where their cousins sleep when they come to visit!
