Did you know that at HEB they give away the misshapened tortillas as samples? I didn't know this until a few months ago, but over by the bakery, there's a box of tortilla samples. All the kids know about it, so after we finish with the produce, we stop by for our tortillas. A little snack to help make the shopping trip more bearable.
I normally avoid going to the gym at that after work time, you know - 4:30 - 5pm. It's always so crowded. But on Fridays, it's practically empty. I'm not so much a lover of the crowds, so this was an exciting discovery for me.
On Tuesdays in the summer at the mall, they are going to have free activities for the kids. Yes, I'll take some free entertainment.
On Wednesday afternoons, the library is doing a "Minute to Win it" thing this summer. Not sure what it is, but we'll try it out.
