We have now official entered into the world of parenthood. We bought a van - a Honda Odyssey. We found it online about 3 hours away and yesterday, Chris and I drove out there to buy it. It wasn't in as good of condition as we were led to believe (minor
cosmetic stuff on the exterior). They were willing to go down a little more, so we agreed. It's so H.U.G.E.. Driving home, I kept looking at the back seat thinking how far away my kids will be. I'm going to have to invest in a long stick to keep them in line. There's lots of nice features - power doors, dual climate control, 6 cd changer, stereo control on the steering wheel, etc. Here's a picture. It's not our van, but one similar.
So next time you see me, I'll be pulling up in this. Hopefully, I won't hit anything while I learn how to maneuver this mom-mobile.
PS if you know anyone that's interested in a '05, low milage, CRV - send them our way. Selling that is what's next on our prep-for-baby-#3 list.

You think driving a minivan makes you cool?! I'm confused. (coming from someone who is thinking about going to the store to get some tulle to knit dish scrubbies)
Let me tell you, this is one BIIGG vehicle. I hope I never have to drive it.
