All That

• My office is painted!! I'm loving the color. I want to finish the room before I post pictures. I'm very stoked about my decorating ideas. We've been referring to it as the sunroom now since it's not that dull beige anymore, but my idea is to turn it into a sort of school room, but with a Wendy flair, of course.
• I need desks to turn it into a school room, but my kid table will work for now.
• Ben has been in a horrible mood for the last few weeks. I've been hanging on by a thread with him, trying to paint. Every few minutes, he would come to me crying over nothing. Melissa found teeth coming in. Looking closer, I found several teeth plus molers swelling his gums. Poor guy.

• Last week my total spending was $47.24, saved $113.16. Felt pretty awesome about that.
• This week, I'm already over my budget. There's lots of good deals this week plus I never went to HEB last week. I knew I was going to go over, but then all these great deals showed up. Oh well.
• A friend and I have started ordering coupon inserts from this guy instead of buying newspapers. You get 3 pounds of inserts (about 35 - 40) filled with coupons for $33. We're doing it once a month ans splitting them. Yesterday, I cut one of each insert (the duplicates I left in the booklets - blogs always tell you what insert the coupons are found). Here they all are, organized and ready to be put away. What a job! At least it's only half of them and we only do it once a mth.

• I found an accent chair at a garage sale last week that works in my new sun/schoolroom - Maybe we'll call it a  . . .schoolsunroom . . anyway. It was priced at $25 and they were selling everything 1/2 off. I thought about it for a long time then asked if they'd do $15. She said yes. I counted my money. I only had $13. She agreed to it! I couldn't believe it.  I guess you're getting a sneak peek of my room here.

• This is my friend, Mitzi., who went with me garage saling. She, too, found a bunch of sweet deals. She's a home stager, staging a home on a nothing budget. Garage sales are our friends. It's nice to have a friend who's into decorating when you're making over a room.
• Got great deals at Target, today. The checker rang up all my stuff and it came to over $41. I handed her my stack of coupons and I mean STACK and my total was $7.55, a savings of 82%! Here's what I got . . .

4 Sobes (free), 2 boxes of eggos ($1.20 each), 3 boxes of Bagel Bites ($0.24 each), 2 bags of pretzels ($0.24 each), travel shaving gel (free), packages of 2 toothbrushes ($0.60), 2 travel first aid kits (free plus overage), dishwasher finishing starter kit ($2), socks ($1 - coupon on Target.com for $5 off Champion brand), Bic mechanical pencils ($0.20), Wonka chocolate bar ($0.20)
