My sister and I were having the following conversation the other day, and I learned something new. She was telling me that she was trying to fix her daughter's hair in a ponytail, but not pull it all the way through, but her dd doesn't like that. Sorry, if I don't get it word for word.
me: Why were you trying to fix it that way?
sis: Cuz it's cool.
me: How do you know it's cool?
sis: Cuz I see the cool kids at church wearing it that way.
me: How do you know that they're cool?
sis: Cuz that's the way their parent's fix it and their parents are cool.
me: So, the way you know what's cool for kids is by finding the cool parents and then looking at their kids?
sis: yeah
me: Oh
See, I did not know this. I have boys. I dress them the same way I dress my husband. Wouldn't know how to dress a little girl. So the moral of the story is a) fix your little girls' hair in pony tails, but don't pull it all the way through and b) to find out more cool ideas for your kids, find other cool parents. Might not look at mine, cuz apparently, I did not know.

That was a very funny twist on a reason for making a ponytail.
I just wish i could make one that would stay in.

hahaha! I must be cool because I do the bun ponytail.
Shhh, don't tell anyone, I do it because I have to tame my hair down. As far as everyone else is concerned its because I am super cool.
