Found fabric! Had to leave town to do it, but I found some that I'm happy with AND it was on sale. Mom and I took the boys to visit my sister/go fabric shopping/watch my niece in her ballet recital. I was glad to have my sis help me make some decisions in the fabric stores. If she didn't before, she now knows how OCD I can be. I spent $67, but also got the batting for the quilt and some binding for the bumper pad. I sow so rarely, I forgot about some stuff I needed, and so I ended up having to buy more like 14 yds. But still, I think did pretty good considering one fabric store we looked at had all their fabric for $9-$10 a yard. The top 3 fabrics are for bumper pad and bed skirt. I'll use all of it for the quilt. There's one more that I need to buy for the quilt, but we have it in town.
Apparently, gray nurseries are very popular right now and owls are so last year - but it all seemed new to me. A little behind the times, I guess. What's new about that, right? I'm old, stay at home, and live in a town that if you go to Walmart with jeans on, you might be a little dressed up. I can't expect to be on top of all the trends.
I'm taking a break on nursery planning and painting my bathroom this weekend. It's one of the few rooms that I haven't done, yet. I'll post some befores and afters soon.
Still need to do my flylady and weekly chore for the day. Good night my little escape.

You'll have to let me know what town you ventured to, to get them!! :)
Walmart...jeans...dressed up. Yes! You can find at least one person in their PJ's any time.
Who said owls were so last year?
