• When Jack was a baby, Ben was saying only about 10 words on a consistant basis - he had said once or twice maybe 10 other words. When Jack was a month or 2, he finally gave Jack a name, "ah". When he was a few months old, he called him "ack". Now, this child is speaking sentences complete with adjectives and adverbs. There is nothing he can't say and the average person could probably understand about 95% of what he says. It's amazing. Learned to talk overnight.
• I'm loving getting to know his thoughts and feelings now that he can express them.
• Is becoming one of the big boys rapidly but is still a Momma's boy
• for a while, he was hooked on the "ABC's" - sang it everyday, all day
• for a while was hooked on his Spiderman costume - wore it everyday, all day
• we're starting to find out how funny he is - sings, "Zane, Caedon, Benjamin and Jack" - but sometimes changes out the names - "Zane, Caedon, Lightning McQueen, and Mater" - then he looks to see if you get his joke.

• STUBBORN but throws a huge fit if you even slap his hand
• bites his nails - lord, help me. Always has his hands in his mouth.
• has his daddy's eyes
• "yesh" - not "yeah"
• in that first picture, I had just taken Z's pics and had told Z to put his hands in his pockets. When it was Ben's turn, he went straight to the tree and put his hands in his pockets, too. Copies his brothers a lot.
• can count to 20+ (mostly) and has even counted by 2's and 3's, is learning his colors and knows a lot of his letters
• "Zane did it" - I don't know why but he always blames Zane.
• starting to dress himself in the mornings
• can't stand having his shirt wet
• no more napping
• wants only Big Bird on his diaper - once during quiet time, he went through all his diapers and lined all the Big Bird ones up in a row - likes lines

So I said a lot more about Ben, but for the record, he's at that age where he's changing so much and his personality is really coming through.
