Ode to Ben

The boys went to VBS this last week at First Methodist. I was so stoked about them both getting to go and me being down to only one child. But, as it turns out, he's the hardest one. I did get to do arrands with only one. That's easier. But he's just at that age that he's just getting to be mobile and so it's all he wants to do except when he wants to be held. Thursday, we had co-op, VBS, soccer practice, back to VBS for Z, and then  . . . 1 hour left to blow downtown with just Ben and I. So what's a girl to do? Take pictures, of course. Ben turned 15 months this week, so in honor of that, I shall bullet . . .

• says, "momma"
• when he sees any animal, he says, "oof" (woof)
• just started waving and saying "nigh, nigh" at bedtime
• LOVES to be chased
• eats all the time and as much as Z, more than Ca (birds eat more than Ca)
• plays peek-a-boo when on the changing table
• still in the 3 percentile on weight
• started facing front in the car (I think he likes getting to see momma)
• favorite word: "dis" (this)
• says, "ah, ah, ah" when he wants something to eat or drink
• gives the best hugs around your neck when he missed you
• drags blankets around the house and leaves them everywhere
• LOVES going outside - throws fits if he wants to and doesn't get to
• pretty layed back until you try to take away something he has - watch out!
• folds his hands to pray before we eat
