So last week, I went to HEB and CVS one more time and it brought my spending for the week up to around $85 and my savings up to around $180. Considering that included enough diapers for one, probably two months, I was pretty proud. Then I sent Chris to the store. Bad idea. I gave him a coupon for coffee and had 1 or 2 other things on the list. He bought about 5 - 7 things and spent $35!! On top of that, he forgot to use my coupon. He did find a buy x get x free deal. So my spending for the week was over $100, but I saved about 60% (before Chris's shopping trip it was about 70%) so I'm doing pretty good. I'm hoping to get my grocery bill down to $70 a week (including toiletries, cleaning supplies, etc), maybe even less. I'm trying to hang onto my receipts so I can keep tabs on myself.
I also made $185 at my garage sale! I know that's not an amazing sale, but to me, if I make over $100, it's worth it. I think I need to buy something nice for my house with at least some of the money.

That's awesome. I think my weekly spending for that stuff is about $250.
And I'm only buying nighttime diapers for one (1 diaper a day/night).
